Well after a GREAT and BUSY week, we headed back to Atlanta after the party. We left about 2:30. We made it to Chattanooga and fed McKinley and got some Smoothies. Good thing because there was an accident at the 40/75 split and we sat in traffic for about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, McKinley who had done great all week with new surroundings and lots of new people was just over it. She was fussy and ready to be out of the car seat. I climbed in the back (and I do mean climbed) to try to appease her. The van was jam packed with 4 Christmas decoration boxes, Christmas tree, and all the STUFF you need for a baby. Well, I let her chew on her shoe for a while and that worked for maybe 10 minutes. She was tired and ready to be home – just like Andy and I. I climbed back into the front to try to let her fall asleep and then McKinley proceeded to cry for an hour – YES an HOUR! While I assume she needed to just get it out, it definitely made the trip more stressful for Andy and I. We were all glad to finally be home and in our own beds.

This shoe has an interesting taste.
