A lot more has happened but I am working on getting caught up on my scrapbooks before baby #2 comes in December.  I am caught up to last December – only 6 months behind – I guess I better get crackin’ since nap is only 2 hours and I need to take a shower in that time.

We are also working on potty training McKinley right now.  We started on Friday but today we started with a kitchen timer.  I told her Brenton and Thatcher had one and that is what they did and she loves it.  The first time it rang – it scared her but she likes it now.  We tried every 30 minutes this morning and she didn’t pee-pee until 11:00 and got a little in her big girl panties.  We are still working on it.  Can I say that I love nap time for the fact that I get to put a diaper on her and not worry about her peeing on the carpet or couch.

We had a wonderful time.  The boys are so excited when McKinley comes that they overwhelm her and it takes them about 30 minutes to get used to one another.  Then, they have a wonderful time together.  McKinley loved all the different toys they had – especially the GeoTracks Train.

Rocky - dressed up for Christmas

Christmas at the Stacy’s would not be the same without Rocky – Papa is very good at making him look real and McKinley believes he is.  She wants to pet him and see him but when he gets up close – she is not so sure.  We had a great time and by the end, McKinley petted his tail and gave him a good-bye hug (her lean in hug – no arms)

We took McKinley to ride the Pink Pig at Macy’s again this year.  She was much more aware!  It was not a long wait and she did great!  We had fun.  She looked a little concerned during the ride but that is all she talked about that night.  She would say “pig” “ride”.  She wanted to watched the video on Daddy’s phone over and over.

McKinley was a sheep in her school's Christmas program - Doesn't she look so cute!

She was supposed to sit in front of the manger with her teachers and the rest of her class. Instead, she made a beeline to Mommy and sat with her the whole program. We got this cute picture of her sheep tail after.

Long awaited update December 29, 2010

Well as you can see, the blog has been put last on my to do list.  I am finally getting some pictures up.  Sorry it has taken so long.  Maybe Andy can get some video up soon.  We have had a busy year and can’t wait to see what 2011 holds for us.

One of McKinley new found loves is to carry things around – usually things that are a little too big for her.  She loves to carry things around – her milk cup, cell phone, bear, cat.  Just about anything she finds.

We got McKinley a horse several weeks ago.  She wasn’t sure of it at first but now she is strong enough and the fun is getting on and off the horse.  The riding part does not last very long.  She laughs this funny deep laugh when getting off it because it is not very graceful.

Playing Dress Up July 20, 2010

One of McKinley’s new favorite things is playing dress up with whatever she can find to put on.  We have had lots of fun with it.  My friend Ange came down for a visit and McKinley found her t-shirt and shorts and we had a little dress up session.  Ange and I were cracking up and McKinley was too!  It was so much fun.
