While Gramzie was in town, she treated us to Stone Mountain. We rode the train which was kind of loud but McKinley still fell asleep in Gramzie’s arms. We had her first picnic and she loved it. She just smiled at Aunt Candace who was sitting beside her. She got tired and fell asleep while her Daddy carried her. We had a great time and were all definitely tired when we got home.
Daddy made sure McKinley didn’t get too much sun. Do you think he pulled off the girly umbrella?

4 Month Doctor’s Visit July 20, 2009
On Friday, July 17th, we went for McKinley’s 4 month doctor visit even though she was 4 months and 11 days. We saw a new doctor and loved her. She was very interactive with McKinley.
Here are McKinley’s new stats:
Weight: 15 pounds 5 ounces (90 %)
Height: 24 1/2 inches (50%)
Head Circumference 16 3/4 inches (90%) – The doctor asked who had the big head in the family and even though you are probably thinking her Daddy – it is actually her mommy who has the big head.
She got 3 more shots. She did great. She cried but was asleep by the time we got out to the van. She is a trooper.
4 Months Old Already?! July 9, 2009
We can’t believe we are the proud parents of a 4 month old. These past months have flown by – especially this summer. Doesn’t McKinley look so old in this picture? She looks a little pitiful too because she scratched herself on the cheek and she kept putting her fingers on her scratch when she was trying to suck her thumb so I put a band-aid over it.
Happy 4th of July July 8, 2009
This past weekend we got to celebrate with Nonna, Popa, Uncle Michael, Aunt Heather, Brenton and Thatcher. We all went to the GA Aquarium (Thanks Mamaw and Papaw Cutshaw!). Although McKinley is still to young understand she really enjoyed herself – especially at the large ocean room. When we were sitting there just looking at what looks like a big fish tank, she turned to look at the fish. I have no idea what she could really see but she was interested in something.
After several hours there, we went outside and tried to get a picture of the 3 kids. This was the best out of a hundred or so on our camera.
