Long awaited update
Well as you can see, the blog has been put last on my to do list. I am finally getting some pictures up. Sorry it has taken so long. Maybe Andy can get some video up soon. We have had a busy year and can’t wait to see what 2011 holds for us.
Pack mule July 20, 2010
One of McKinley new found loves is to carry things around – usually things that are a little too big for her. She loves to carry things around – her milk cup, cell phone, bear, cat. Just about anything she finds.
McKinley and her horse
We got McKinley a horse several weeks ago. She wasn’t sure of it at first but now she is strong enough and the fun is getting on and off the horse. The riding part does not last very long. She laughs this funny deep laugh when getting off it because it is not very graceful.
Playing Dress Up
One of McKinley’s new favorite things is playing dress up with whatever she can find to put on. We have had lots of fun with it. My friend Ange came down for a visit and McKinley found her t-shirt and shorts and we had a little dress up session. Ange and I were cracking up and McKinley was too! It was so much fun.
Summertime Fun June 29, 2010
Summertime means playing outside, at the pool, and of course June brought Andy’s 2nd Father’s Day. McKinley dressed up for the occasion.
We also enjoyed the pool with Aunt Candace on Sunday.
Acting like Mommy
15 months is a great age and McKinley wants to do things Mommy and Daddy are doing. Here are some fun pictures.
Santa Rosa Beach Trip 2010 June 21, 2010
McKinley experienced the beach for the first time June 4-11th. We went with Andy’s family – Nonna, Popa, Uncle Michael, Aunt Heather, Brenton, and Thatcher. We all had a GREAT time. McKinley loved the beach but she especially loved the boys. She was enthralled with them and just wanted to be around them and do what they were doing. McKinley was not scared at all of the ocean, waves, or sand. She made great strides in learning how to walk at the beach – especially on the sand which is tricky. Hope you enjoy the pictures. There are more but since we took 1,000 pictures – literally- it is going to take us a while to go through and edit them 🙂
Aunt Candace let me borrow a visor for the beach. It was great for appeasing McKinley for the long car ride.
We got to the beach early so we drove over to Seaside for McKinley very first beach experience with just the 3 of us. She love it!
One of the first days we were at the beach, McKinley just took off crawling in the sand. It cracked us up.
